Summary: What’s happening to me? is a book which tells you about your changes physically and mentally as you grow from a boy to a man. For example, you will grow hair in new places. Your voice will get deeper. You might get spots, greasy hair and skin. Besides, it also tells you how to stay healthy and keep fit so that growing up is a whole lot easier when you have some idea of what to expect. |

Comment: The book describes exactly what will happen to your body in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way. It also explains some your feelings too, all of which are useful to know for this important time in your life. It is really informative. Three simple questions and answers (with page no.) 1.When someone says your voice has broken, what does it mean? (p.8) It means your voice has got deeper. You just start to sound like an adult. 2.Why shouldn’t we skip breakfast? (p.30) Your body uses energy even while you’re asleep and you need to replace it in the morning. Or A healthy breakfast stops you feeling weak and sluggish, improves your concentration and makes you function better all around. 3.How can we get rid of sweat and smells? (p.34) The best way to get rid of sweat and smells is to wash every day. |
